Kish-e-Mehr’s Kids Department is home to children aged 7-12. All four basic skills are presented in the form of topics and themes of interest for teenagers, which enhance their motivation. What distinguishes the teaching course in Kish-e-Mehr is its attractive and engaging games which capture little learners’ interest.

Kids courses are comprised of 20 terms, 7 main books and 17 complementary ones. These include Little Friends, First Friends, Family Friends, etc. Each term consists of 15 teaching sessions and 2 testing sessions (written and oral exams). The listening exam is taken by a different instructor in the final teaching session of each term. It should also be mentioned that each session lasts for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Little Friends

Little Friends is a course for very young children who do not read or write. It develops vocabulary, introduces phonics, and teaches numbers. Little Friends helps you to make learning English simple and fun for very young learners.

The engaging characters and enjoyable, age-appropriate activities create a positive learning environment where students can develop vocabulary skills, learn English sounds through phonics, discover the numbers 1–10, and practise pre-reading and pre-writing skills.

Little Friends is the starter level for First Friends but can be used on its own as a one-level course.

Jolly Songs

A collection of songs set to popular tunes for each of the 42 letter sounds.These songs are sung by children (in British English) on the audio CD. Perfect for use at home, one-to-one teaching or small groups. Also includes a spoken guide to all 42 letter sounds and alternative vowels. Games and activities are included in the 24 page book.

First Friends

First Friends makes children's first year of learning English motivating and fun. A regular unit cycle and engaging support resources help you create a positive learning environment where children can develop confidence, build vocabulary skills, and practise phonics. The carefully researched phonics programme gives you lessons that are ideal for children who don't use the Roman alphabet. Use Little Friends to extend First Friends to a three-level course.
